Race for the Cure, Danelle's Baby Shower & Night Out

Today was a busy day for me! In the morning, I met up with the Wells family to do the Race for the Cure. It was a beautiful morning with lots of people out to run. Lisher and I did the 5K and Allie and Grandma Linda did the 1-mile Fun Walk. I love doing the Race for the Cure. I think this is my 5th or 6th year for doing it.

Lisher and Allie. Allie had a cute little pink ribbon sticker on her face!

In the afternoon, I hosted a baby shower for Danelle and baby Curtis (Paisley) at Scrap Funattic. I invited a bunch of our scrapbooking friends to get creative for Danelle. We made onesies for the new baby girl. It was soooo much FUN!! We hadn't ever made onesies before so it was a new and fun creative activity for us! :) I spent the whole time making 2 onesies and still didn't get it finished!! But, I had a great time. She got so many neat onesies and a few scrapbooking pages. I still need to make a scrapbook page or two for her. (It's on my to do list) Here is a few pictures of the day:

I made the Princess Paisley and the baby Rock Star one (still works in progress, but super cute so far!)
Here are some more...

Baby stuff! Woohoo!!

After the baby shower... actually I had to leave a little early, I headed out to meet Jeremy so that we could go to Margaritas. We met up with the teacher friends and had some delicious food and drinks all night. We were celebrating Deb and Natalie's birthday and having our first get together since school has been in session.
