Bluegrass Festival

On Friday, Jeremy woke up early, for him (6:30am), and took me to work. He picked me up right at 3:30 after school so we could go straight to the festivities in Winfield. Friday night we had a good time walking around and seeing all of the camps and listening to a little bit of music.

Here is a pic of our camp- Camp Jayhalk. It is all decked out with red and blue lights and even has a chandelier! Pretty sweet!
Our tent and campout for the weekend. Some motor home rolled literally right behind us. That's one of the joys of Bluegrass is you get nice and cozy with your neighbors.

Here is the view from our tent. This is the most space that we have ever had at Bluegrass so it was nice to have our own little camp.

The Jayhawk was Jeremy's favorite part of camp. NOT! But, he was a good sport about it. I made him take a picture with the Jayhawk even though he is a huge KSU fan.
Jeremy snoozing in the chair at camp on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday afternoon we walked up to the mainstage where all of the little vendors were selling all kinds of good stuff. This picture has my favorite vendor at Bluegrass. It is wall art that his handmade with cool quotes. I've bought one in the past, but had to refrain this year. Apparantly Jeremy loved this stuff too by the look on his face! (J/K he was shocked by the price of them!)

Here is a good pic of our camp shirts that Mimi and Danelle made for us. It is KU colors of course! The front says "Peace, Love, and Camp Jayhawk". The back says "Bluegrass 2009". Mine was extra special because it had stars on it. SWEET!!
