Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Sunday was already upon us, and we definitely did not want to go home. I miss hanging out with my buddies and scrapbooking like we did all summer. It is a lot of girl fun! Here is the last photos of our girl weekend.

Her page was so AWESOME!!! She has such great talent and I'm always in awww of what she creates! :)

In the morning they made everyone line up that made a page for the competition and then let them know individually if they had won or not. She didn't end up winning, but has a great page already finished from our weekend getaway.

Later in the afternoon, scrapbookers can buy raffle tickets to put in to baskets with some great donated prizes. All of the money for the raffle goes to a charity of a fellow scrapbookers choice. I put half of my tickets in the bucket for a giraffe-printed purse that Danelle and I had been eyeballing for a few months and I put the rest in for a $250 gift certificate to Scrapfunattic and a rolling tote. The first prize that they drew for was the purse. Kate starting reading the number and I new that I had all of the numbers so far down to the last two numbers in the 30's. I grabbed D.C.'s arm b/c I was soooo close. It took me a minute to realize that I had ALL of the 30's, so I WON the purse!! I had won two of the greatest prizes at Cropaganza!! Total value of around $150!! That's pretty unbelievable!!

(My mom called me later to say that they were going to the casino and taking Kate's aunt Theresa & William with them, but I decided not to go since I was so pooped! Plus, I don't think I could possibly be any more lucky! :):))

I decided pretty much when I won the purse that I wasn't going to keep it. My pregnant friend has been wanting this purse for MONTHS and wanted to use it as a diaper bag. There is no way that I could have sproted that purse knowing that she wanted it so bad, so I decided I would give it to her as an early baby shower gift and she was so happy and surprised that she got a little teary-eyed. Happy early shower gift mi amiga! :)

Afterwards, DC came over to check out our new house and pick up her car that Jeremy had been working on while we were gone. What a GREAT weekend!! :):):)
