My 28th Birthday!

Sorry, blog readers I know that I have been slacking on the updates!! I promise to post a few highlights of the last few months.

For my birthday it seems like I had a birthday week, because I had several celebrations throughout the week since my birthday was on a boring Wednesday. On Sunday, Dec. 13th we went over to the parentals house for some of my mom's homemade lasagna. I'm pretty sure that I picked this same dinner last year, but oh well it is delicious!! :) And to top it off, we had my all time favorite dessert, ice cream cake!!

My parents gave me Bon Jovi tickets for their concert in the new Intrust Bank Arena in March. I can't wait!! I also got an iTunes gift card to download all of his songs or others that I don't have. Thanks Mom and Dad!

On Tuesday, I knew something was up because Jeremy was planning something and he said that he was going to need other's help to pull off my birthday present. I had no clue what he was doing and he told me that I didn't ask for his present, so I was a little nervous what he was going to be up to! Well, I came home after our basketball game on Tuesday and found out that Mark and Jeremy were still working on my present in our spare bedroom. I kept wondering what in the heck are those two doing?!!? Finally, he came out and asked me if I wanted to give him my input on what he was doing or if he should just guess what I wanted, and of course I said I didn't know b/c I didn't know what he was doing! :) So, he decided to go ahead and show me my present.
He made me my very own scrapbooking room!!! WOW!! What a great and perfect present! Here are a few photos of my new room!
These are organizational shelfs and he wanted to know how I wanted to arrange them so he could screw them together. He added all of my picture frames, a radio to jam to while I scrapbook and a new pink clock.

Jeremy bought the words "Live, Laugh, Love" to hang on the wall, an awesome 8 foot collapsible table, a pink lamp that matches the clock, a comfortable new chair, and later he got me a few wire shelfs for the table and a plastic mat for the floor to help me roll easier on the floor. SO COOL! Thanks honey!! :):):):)

On Wednesday, Dec. 16th (my actual birthday), Danelle surprised me and brought Paisley and a few birthday gifts. A dozen beautiful pink roses and a later I opened a cool star punch that I can't wait to use! It was so nice to see and visit her and Paisley. It seems like I haven't seen her in soooo long since she had been on maternity leave for almost 6 weeks at that point! Thanks DC for coming to visit me on my special day!
That night we went to Hailey's house for our monthly Bunco night!! The ladies and I always have a good time and Bunco night and it's nice to have a little getaway to have some fun with some teacher friends each month. This night I was the Bunco Birthday Biotch! :)

On Friday, we went out to eat with Rob & Kathryn, and Valerie & Michael to one of my favorite restaurants, Felipe's, for dinner and then over to Rob & Kathryn's.
Here I am opening a gift card to Scrapbook Garden.
I also got a neat little snowman guy that will hold a bottle of wine, a new board game, and two big silver sparkly stars. Thank you everyone! :)

Saturday night we went out with Katie, Shanna & Ryan to the Loony Bin and then to the Chalet. This drink below is a picture of the Lobotomy. It's served in a mini pitcher and it is really gooooood!

Thanks to everyone for making my 28th birthday great!
